DUKES CLAW TIGERS 4 to 1

The Wellington Dukes extended their winning streak to seven as they travelled to Aurora tonight and came home with a 4 to 1 victory over the Tigers.

The Dukes fell behind early in the opening period 1 to 0 before Spencer Turcotte notched the tieing goal before the frame ended.  Steven Deeg, named 2nd Star of the game, scored the lone goal of the middle period while Luc Brown, with his first of the season and Erick Delaurentis, into an empty net, closed out the scoring.  Kyle Paat had two assists while Mike Soucier had a single helper.  Lucas Machalski picked up his league leading 7th win of the season as he faced 34 shots and was named 1st Star of the game.

After playing 8 of their first 10 games on the road the Dukes will now play a pair of home games this weekend.  First up is the Trenton Golden Hawks on Friday starting at 7:30 PM.  On Sunday the Lindsay Muskies make their lone visit with a 7:00 PM puck drop.
