DUKES EDGE GOLDEN HAWKS 4 to 3

Defenseman Andrew Coupland opened the scoring and the Wellington Dukes hung on to edge the Trenton Golden Hawks 4 to 3 to extend their winning streak to eight games.  Steven Deeg was named 1st Star and Hardest Working Player of the game with a pair of powerplay goals including the game winner.  Cody Gratton had the other goal and was named 2nd Star of the Game.

Mike Soucier and Erick Delaurentis each had two assists while Luc Brown, Gratton and Coupland had single helpers.  Kyle Paat was named Defensive Player of the Game.  Lucas Machalski was the busier of the two goalies facing 36 shots while picking up his league leading 8th win.

The Dukes will now prepare for the lone visit of the North Division Lindsay Muskies on Sunday with a 7:00 PM puck drop.
