Dear Dukes Fans,
As we prepare for the upcoming season, I want to take a moment — on behalf of the entire Wellington Dukes organization — to thank you.
Your support means everything. Whether you’ve had season tickets for years or just come out for a few games, you’ve helped make the Duke Dome one of the best barns in junior hockey. This season, we’re not just focused on wins — we’re focused on rebuilding trust, improving communication, and deepening our roots in the community.
Transparency
We believe you deserve to know what’s going on with your team. From roster moves to business updates, we’re committed to keeping you informed, not left guessing. Expect more openness from us this season.
Communication
We’re here to listen. Whether it’s in person, online, or at the rink — your input matters. You’ll hear from us more often, and we hope to hear from you, too.
Community
This team belongs to the people of Wellington, Prince Edward County and the Quinte region. We’re stepping up our efforts off the ice — from school visits and volunteering to new local partnerships — because being a Duke is about more than just hockey.
We’ve got a lot to be excited about.
We have a few returning players, a few new faces and we’re ironing out some exciting new partnerships that will help ensure top talent continues to develop right here in Wellington — not just this season, but well into the future.
And we’ve lined up a bunch of great events to bring the community together and kick off the year in style:
Fan Events Coming Up:
July 25 – Meet the Coach event
– ticket sales, mini games for kids, Q&A with Head Coach & GM Jacob Panetta
August 21 – Main Camp kicks off — come see the next wave of Dukes
August 23-24 – Home and Home Exhibition games versus the Trenton Golden Hawks
August 25-29th – Dukes Kids Summer Camp
September 6–7 – Home Opening Weekend
Golf Tourney (Saturday morning)
Outdoor Concert (Saturday night)
Sunday BBQ + home opener vs. Trenton Golden Hawks
So here’s the challenge:
Let’s pack the Duke Dome.
Let’s show the players, the league, and each other what it means to be part of this community and this team. Loud, proud, and all in.
Thanks again for being part of the Dukes family.
Go Dukes!
