Wednesday was a day for a big milestone at the inaugural Wellington Dukes Golf Tournament at Oak Hills Golf Club in Stirling.
The Dukes welcomed about 75 people, including players, coaches, support staff, volunteers and fans to the course for the event.
During the tournament, Wellington Dukes player Landon Marleau recorded a hole-in-one on Hole #15 on the Glen Course.
The 20-year-old from Los Gatos, California used a hybrid driver to achieve the accomplishment.
Marleau is the son of NHL legend Patrick Marleau, the all-time NHL regular season games-played leader and a two-time Olympic Gold Medallist.
It was part of an outstanding week for Oak Hills.
24 hours earlier on Tuesday, Brad Wilson aced the 16th hole on the Highlands Course, marking two hole-in-ones on back-to-back days.
“We thought it was a pretty remarkable couple of days at the golf course and a great local sports story to share,” Oak Hills officials stated.
The tournament featured 18 holes of golf and a lunch provided to those in attendance.
