Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Junior Hockey League, announced Wednesday 66 players that will attend the Canada East selection camp in preparation for the 2013 World Junior A Challenge. Abbott Girduckis and Mike Soucier of the Wellington Dukes were among the players selected.
Girduckis is in his second season with the Dukes and played in the 2013 Ontario Summer Select Showcase where he was tied for the lead in points with four.
Soucier, also in his second season with the Dukes, was named OJHL North/East Conference Player-of-the-Month for September. The Caledon, Ontario native has commited to NCAA DIV I Bemidji State University.
