Sometimes a team will “win ugly” and tonight was one of those nights. First Star of the Game Luc Brown led the way with a powerplay goal and powerplay assist. Second Star and Hardest Working Player of the Game Joe McKeown had a pair of goals while other marksmen were Spencer Turcotte and Erick Delaurentis with the game winner.
Chipping in with additional assists were Chad Thibodeau, Parker Wood, Mike Soucier, Josh Supryka, Abbott Girduckis, Andrew McCann, Maurizio Colella and Steven Deeg. Tyson Teichmann picked up the win in net facing 20 shots while rookie Jacob Panetta was named Defensive Player of the Game.
The Dukes will now get ready to host the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots on Sunday with a 7:00 PM puck drop.
