The Wellington Dukes blanked the Stouffville Spirit 4 to 0 as goaltender Adam Wood made 26 saves and was named Hardest Working Player of the Game as well as third star for his first win of the season. Mike Soucier had a pair of goals with singles going to Jacob Panetta (his first Junior A as well as being named second star of the game) and Trevor Cope who was named first star of the game.
Picking up assists in the win were Andrew Coupland, Luc Brown, Parker Wood, Josh Supryka, Spencer Turcotte, Joe McKeown, Cody Gratton and Maurizo Coletta.
The Dukes will try to extend their winning streak to five when they take on the Newmarket Hurricanes on Sunday afternoon in Oakville as part of the OJHL Showcase weekend.
