Former Wellingyon Dukes goaltender Paul Karpowich has signed a two year contract with the NHL St. Louis Blues.  His one season with the Dukes (2007-08) saw him finish with the second lowest GAA in the OJHL (2.15) and earned him a selection by the Blues in the 2008 NHL draft.

The Thunder Bay, Ontario native just completed a four year stay at NCAA Clarkson University posting a 2,46 GAA and a .921 save percentage in his senior season.  He is scheduled to join the Blues today in St. Louis.
