The American Hockey League announced today that St. John's IceCaps goaltender Eddie Pasquale has been named to the AHL All-Rookie Team for the 2011-12 season.

Pasquale played one season (2006-07) as a Duke and the 16 year old native of Toronto, Ontario led the entire OJHL with the lowest goals against average (1.92).   He was drafted by the NHL Atlanta Thrashers who have since moved to become the Winnipeg Jets.
