The American Hockey League announced today that St. John's IceCaps goaltender Eddie Pasquale has been selected as the Reeboc/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 12, 2012.

Pasquale made three starts last week and stopped 83 of 87 shots, earning three wins and helping the IceCaps into first place in the overall standings.

In his one season with the Dukes, 2006-07, his 1.92 GAA was the lowest of all OJHL goaltenders.  In 2009 he was a fourth round NHL draft pick of the Atlanta Thrashers, now Winnipeg Jets.
